Identifying priorities for Māori students: What to use

This section presents a range of resources that school leaders can use with whānau, iwi, teachers, students, and others in the school community to identify priorities for Māori students and to assess the effectiveness of current school–whānau partnerships.

These resources have emerged from research on educational partnerships, and schools are already finding them effective in improving Māori student achievement.

In addition, this website’s interactive tool for evaluating partnerships and identifying next steps to improve them will provide valuable information on the effectiveness of current school–whānau partnerships.
